Here’s our most frequently asked questions about septic system repairs, installations, and restoration.
We can provide a cost range for a new septic system within a day or two, based on the home's bedroom count and location.
For an exact quote, you'll need a septic permit from the health department. This includes soil testing and system specifications, which we use to quote without a site visit. Permits typically take a few weeks, depending on your local health department. If you would like us to pull the permit on your behalf for an additional fee let us know!
A repair that involves changing the size of any part of the system—such as new tank or drain field—requires a permit from your local county health department. However, if we are merely replacing an existing part such as a cracked pipe or broken lid, a permit is not required.
We’ll start by scheduling an inspection to see if your saturated drain area can be restored. This helps us determine if the system is properly sized and identify any other issues, like root intrusion, dirt infiltration, or a high water table. Afterward, we’ll discuss your options—whether restoration with Mechanical Aeration, SludgeHammer® or a full replacement—then you can choose what’s best for your home.
